Bio
Brose Partington is the founder and owner of Brose Partington Studio, an art studio in Indianapolis, Indiana, specializing in art fabrication, restoration, installation, and mount making.
In 2004, after receiving a BFA in sculpture from Herron School of Art & Design at Indiana University-Indianapolis, Brose began his career at the Indianapolis Museum of Art as a preparator and head mount maker. During his time at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, he fabricated and installed several of the outdoor sculptures for the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art + Nature Park and was involved in reinstalling artwork after the 170,000 square foot expansion in 2005.
In 2011, Brose completed a 3-month artist residency in Berlin, after which he started his own business and has since been working with museums, artists, and curators around the world.
As an artist, Brose has received the Efroymson Contemporary Arts Fellow grant and the Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship grant. His artwork has also been exhibited in New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, China, and the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.
